Mardi Gras Finished Product
Here is the final product of the Mardi Gras poster. In tradition of anything that we posted in DDM i decided to go with the length of tabloid. Letter size did not match with my design so i went with tabloid so that there would be more leg room for both the design and the text flow. Minor tweaks will continue as i see fit within the poster. Collaborated with Michelle Eriacho for the design images.

It's looks good. I like how the hand points to "Mardi gras." Only problem I see is that your "UNM Gallup Presents" has each letter overlapping/pushing into each other with the stroke. Did you just add a stroke to it?

ReplyDeleteThanks for the reply. Yes there is a stroke to the type, but with good reason for it. The reason begin it is without the stroke, the text would merely blend into the background and that's not good. Also thanks for catching that, I guess I didn't reset the tracking from my previous project. Will get a update by tonight. Thanks for catching that.
ReplyDeleteWasn't it against the rules to put upper and lowercase letters vertically? I think a slight shadow would have made your text stick out from the background without the strokes' help.
